Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Health Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2016 . Part 2 Amendment of Hospital and Health Boards Regulation 2012 2 Regulation amended This part amends the Hospital and Health Boards Regulation 2012 . 3 Insertion of new ss 34A and 34B Part 8— insert— 34A Prescribed health practitioner—Act, s 139 For section 139 of the Act, definition prescribed health practitioner, a medical practitioner holding any of the following types of registration under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law is prescribed—

(a) general registration;

(b) limited registration for a purpose mentioned in the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, section 66 or 67;

(c) limited registration in the public interest to which the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, section 273 applies;

(d) specialist registration;

(e) provisional registration.

34B Prescribed information system—Act, s 139 For section 139 of the Act, definition prescribed information system, the information system provided by the department called ‘The Viewer’ and with asset number 326492 is prescribed. Part 3 Amendment of Public Health Regulation 2005 4 Regulation amended This part amends the Public Health Regulation 2005 . 5 Amendment of s 2B (Definitions for div 1) Section 2B, definition non-workplace area, editor’s note— omit, insert— Note— See the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 , section 8. 6 Insertion of new pt 2D After section 12F— insert— Part 2D Disclosure of information for school health programs 12G Prescribed information for school health programs—Act, s 213AD For section 213AD(1) of the Act, the following information about a student is prescribed—

(a) the sex of the student;

(b) the school’s class or group to which the student belongs;

(c) the language spoken at home by the student;

(d) whether the student identifies as being an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.

7 Amendment of s 13A (Notifications about maternal death statistics—Act, s 228F) Section 13A, note, ‘at <www.health.qld.gov.au>’— omit. 8 Insertion of new s 15A After section 15— insert— 15A Prescribed person—Act, s 232 For section 232(1) of the Act, the Hospital and Health Service established under the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011 , section 17 and assigned the name Metro South is prescribed.
