Reprint noteThis reprint has been reformatted to reflect current drafting styles.Ampol Refineries Limited Agreement Act 1964An Act with respect to an agreement between the State and Ampol Refineries Limited and for purposes incidental thereto1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Ampol Refineries Limited Agreement Act 1964.2Execution of agreement authorisedThe Premier and Minister for State Development is, and it is declared always was, hereby authorised to make, for and on behalf of the State, with Ampol Refineries Limited, a company duly incorporated in the Australian Capital Territory and registered in the State, the agreement a copy of which is set out in the schedule (the agreement).3Ratification and approvalThe agreement is hereby approved and ratified and the provisions thereof shall have, and it is hereby declared always have had as from the date of the making thereof, the force of law as though the agreement were an enactment of this Act.4Variation of agreement(1)The agreement may be varied by further agreements between the Minister and the company.(2)However, the Minister may make a further agreement only if the proposed further agreement has been approved by regulation.(3)The Minister must, by gazette notice, notify the date of the making of the further agreement.(4)The agreement as varied has the force of law as if it were an enactment of this Act.s 4 sub 1995 No. 57 s 4 sch 15Regulation making powerThe Governor in Council may make regulations under this Act.s 5 ins 1995 No. 57 s 4 sch 1ScheduleThe agreementEditor’s note—Consistent with the provisions of the Act, this schedule only contains the proposed agreement authorised to be entered into by the Act as originally enacted.
