1Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Criminal Code (Government Agencies) Regulation 2026.2CommencementThis regulation commences on the day the Penalties and Sentences (Sexual Offences) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2025, section 10 commences.3Government agenciesFor the Criminal Code, section 97A(3), definition government agency, paragraph (b), each of the following entities is prescribed to be a government agency—

(a)the Crime and Corruption Commission;

(b)Legal Aid Queensland established under the Legal Aid Queensland Act 1997;

(c)a local government;

(d)the Office of the Ombudsman established under the Ombudsman Act 2001;

(e)the Parole Board Queensland established under the Corrective Services Act 2006;

(f)the Queensland Audit Office established under the Auditor-General Act 2009;

(g)the Supreme Court Library Committee established under the Supreme Court Library Act 1968.
