1Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Agriculture and Fisheries and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2025.2Postponed commencement of particular uncommenced provisions(1)The period before automatic commencement, under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 26 April 2026.(2)In this section—postponed law means the uncommenced provisions of the Agriculture and Fisheries and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2024 other than schedule 1, part 3, amendment 3 of the Fisheries Act 1994.Note—The postponed law now automatically commences on 27 April 2026.3ExpiryThis regulation expires on 28 April 2026.
