1Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Police Service Administration Amendment Regulation 2024.2Regulation amendedThis regulation amends the Police Service Administration Regulation 2016.3Insertion of new s 73After section 72—insert—73Transfer of surplus gifts, contributions or other money on revocation of endorsement as deductible gift recipient(1)This section applies if the service’s endorsement as a deductible gift recipient under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (Cwlth) is revoked under that Act.(2)The commissioner must, on behalf of the service, transfer to another entity that is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (Cwlth) and has similar purposes for which the service was endorsed as a deductible gift recipient any surplus gifts, contributions or other money mentioned in section 30-125(6)(b) of that Act.
