1Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2024.2Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions(1)The period before automatic commencement, under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 5 April 2025.(2)In this section—postponed law means the following provisions of the Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2023—

(a)sections 102 and 121;

(b)section 125(2), to the extent it inserts definition body-worn camera.

Note—The postponed law now automatically commences on 6 April 2025.3ExpiryThis regulation expires on 7 April 2025.
