pure act-2009-017 Local Government Act 2009 sl-2025-0167 Department of Local Government, Water and Volunteers 167 published 2025-12-19 website 1 reg Local Government (Boundary Change) Amendment Regulation 2025 2025 2025 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Boundary Change) Amendment Regulation 2025. 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Local Government Regulation 2012. 3 Amendment of sch 1 (Prescribed information about local governments) (1) Schedule 1, entry for Ipswich, column 3, ‘edition 6’— omit, insert— edition 7 (2) Schedule 1, entry for Somerset, column 3, ‘edition 2’— omit, insert— edition 3 4 Amendment of sch 3 (Implementing local government changes relating to changes of the boundaries of local government areas) Schedule 3, after section 1M— insert— 1N Change in boundaries affecting both Ipswich City Council and Somerset Regional Council (1) The part of lot 20 on SP344163 that was not in the Somerset Regional Council’s local government area immediately before the commencement is—

(a) excluded from the Ipswich City Council’s local government area; and

(b) included in the Somerset Regional Council’s local government area.

(2) The local government change mentioned in subsection (1) takes effect on the commencement. Note— A copy of the change commission’s report titled ‘External Boundary Review—June 2025—Ipswich City Council—Somerset Regional Council’ can be viewed on the electoral commission’s website.
