Acts as passed
These are Acts as originally passed by the Legislative Assembly and assented to by the Governor, without any changes made due to later amendment.
Acts, SL (Subordinate Legislation) as in force
This refers to reprints and includes Queensland Acts and subordinate legislation published as unofficial electronic versions of Acts and subordinate legislation as they exist from time to time.
Bills
These are the legislative instruments introduced and taken through the Legislative Assembly, which, on being passed and assented to by the Governor, become Acts.
Consideration in detail
This is the internal Legislative Assembly process by which the provisions of an introduced Bill, during its passage through Parliament, are considered by members clause by clause and amended if necessary.
Cumulative weekly update of Queensland legislation reprints
The cumulative weekly update of Queensland Legislation reprints is updated weekly and contains information about new and lapsed reprints and the amendments made to a particular item of legislation, either in electronic or authorised, printed form.
Explanatory notes for Bills
These accompany Bills in their passage through the Legislative Assembly and give a brief explanation of the provisions of the Bill.

These publications contain information about current and repealed Queensland legislation. It gives details of the legislative history of Acts and subordinate legislation.
Regulatory impact statement and explanatory notes for SL
These documents are consultation or explanatory documents that may accompany particular subordinate legislation.
Repealed legislation
Repealed legislation contains unofficial electronic reprints of Queensland legislation that has been repealed, including those reprints at earlier points in time and the last version of the legislation at its repeal.
Reprint
A reprint is a consolidation or compilation of legislation as originally made and any amendments to the legislation.
Revised edition
An existing reprint (published for legislation as it exists at a point in time) may need to be updated to correct errors or take account of retrospective amendments or include other material relevant to the point of time. The edition prepared and issued is called a revised edition.
Revision notice
A revision notice relates to an existing published reprint and corrects errors or notifies other matters relevant to the reprint.
SL as made
These are instruments of delegated legislation, for example, regulations, standards, notices, proclamations, by-laws and rules, in their form as originally made, without any changes made by later amendment.
Superseded versions of reprints
These provide access to Queensland legislation at it existed at points earlier in time to current reprints. Access to superseded legislation is available via the Acts, SL in force section.
